Use Your Gmail Account for Online File Storage

Gmail gives you a nearly unlimited amount of storage--almost 5GB at time of writing. Here are instructions on using Gmail for storage using a Firefox plugin called GSpace.

Step1
Download and install the Gspace plugin here:

http://www.getgspace.com/download.html
Step2
You would need to restart your Firefox browser and launch the plugin by clicking on 'Tools' and then GSpace.

Step3
You will be presented with the Gspace console.
Step4
Click on 'Manage Accounts'. You will need to enter your Gmail account information.

Step5
Once you are logged in, you will be presented with options on uploading your files. Simply navigate and select the files that you wish to upload and click on the arrow pointing right in the middle of the console.

Step6
Your upload will take a while depending on the speed of your connection.

Step7
The file should then appear in your GMail account after it has been successfully uploaded.
